Entertainment in Bogota



Bogota. Chamber music, presentations of ensemble in sextets and quartets and soloists invited to be articulated to orchestral groups do part of the Orchestral International Program 2009 (POI), in the theater “Leon de Greiff”.

Until December, four, the National Direction of Spreading of the National University presents this project that tries to generate an exchange between the orchestras that are outlined for the artistic work in classic contemporary music to Latin-American and world level.

With the POI it seeks to foment the knowledge and enjoyment of this type of music, increasing the hearings, generating processes of collective creation between orchestras and strengthening the musical training of the young men across the Conservatoire of Music of the National University.


In this occasion the University invites to professional orchestras of infantile, juvenile striping, adults and senior, besides student orchestras of conservatoires to linking itself actively in the execution and design of the agendas.

This was to propitiate a meeting among the directors, soloists and members of the different Latin-American and like that orchestras to generate ensembles or montages of digest in collaboration.

Bogota-Unicentro renewed inside and outside



The mall will receive an investment of $ 168,000 million for remodeling and expansion. In 2010 begin construction of a 25-story building, including offices and medical clinics.

According to the manager of Unicentro, Horacio Lince, 60% of such investment shall be for loans with the banking sector, while 40% will be contributed by the co-owners of the mall.


Among the developments that will Colombians in the coming years, building a 25-story building, which will focus on the administrative side of the mall and the 40 offices currently operating. The new spaces will be allocated to meet demand for new offices in the sector, as well as the adequacy of space for medical offices, laboratories and space for health. In the second stage, which will be ready by mid next year, the center will have 480 new parking lots and in the third stage will be built additional 2500 to end 2011 with 6,500 parking for vehicles.


Another innovation Unicentro external, which follows international trends, is its green building, where stand wide corridors lit with natural light, a food court much wider and more square meters for entertainment.


With all these changes, the center aims to double the flow of visitors is now 100,000 people a day and meet public expectations in terms of quantity, safety and ease of access and entertainment.

GO TO THE NEW CONCERTS OF “OPERA AL PARQUE” IN BOGOTA.


The concerts are realized in universities. On November 7 it is closed in the Bullring.
12 version of Opera to the Park began last Thursday and it will end on November 7, with a great spectacle in the Bullring, where the Symphonic National Orchestra will interpret Fígaro's Weddings (3 p.m.), the Symphonic Band of Cundinamarca will do a haughty version of Carmina Burana, of Carl Orff (5 p.m.) and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogota will be with his program Opera in Concert (7 p.m.).

A CONCERT IN THE NATIONAL MUSEUM
In the audience Teresa Cuervo of the National Museum, there appears the ' Recital of the Latin-American song ', with Orphan Nancy Stefany, Alejandro Garzón and the caleño Alejandro Roca (pianist), winners of the Contest of Composition City of Bogota.

There will be as musicians invited Juan Philip Molano, Beatriz Martínez, Liz Ángela García, Juan Alejandro Candamil, Antonio Correa and Diego García.
